MY FOOD PHILOSOPHY

When it comes to food, I think what we’re here to do is eat in such a way that builds a metabolically healthy mind and body that can support us in reaching our highest purpose and spread light in this world.

We eat 70 metric tons of food in our lifetimes, and high quality diet leads to a high quality life! The answer of “what to eat” is simple: eat real, minimally processed, nutrient packed food that is grown in the richest, biodiverse soil and ecosystems.

Have a relationship with your food: know where it comes from, source it thoughtfully, and prepare the majority of it yourself. It can be easy, and it will be profoundly rewarding.

Healthy eating encompasses what we include in our meals (micronutrients! fiber!), what we leave out of our meals (refined sugar, pesticides, etc), and how we eat our meals (our mindset, mood, and timing).

The good news is that these strategies are not about deprivation; they are about giving your body the best molecular building blocks and information to have well functioning cells.
